WatchI made a video for Evan Voytas’ magnificent Getting Higher about which I wrote earlier. The footage is François Truffaut’s Jules et Jim (1962). I’ve always found this movie soooo special, it’s like a key part of French Nouvelle Vague pour moi. And Jeanne Moreau is simply beautiful in it. The whole movie is based on a book by Henri-Pierre Roché which has the very same title.
Young Galaxy is pretty well-established band so there’s probably no need to introduce. I quite like their last year’s Invisible Republic, yet a new song called Peripheral Visionaires is something that kills it for me completely. Peripheral Visionaires has a cute balearic vibe and should find its way to you. It really should, even if only for the beautiful ending.

Of Oceans is a project from I don’t know where. It doesn’t matter much. Since the music tells you everything you need to know, I really don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t download songs that are to make your music library even more fascinating.
It’d be a real blow if Bikini were forced to change their name. Pretty cool one actually. Music is not in a way left behind - I’m pretty excited about this band. Really. As Olivier and Nigel sum it up - Salinger on MDMA. Whoa! So true, you know.
I’ve just found out about California Wives (obviously pretty hot name) today. And as was stated - their songs just do cheer you up. Absolutely. It’s tested on myself since my headache is now lost far far away.
